Greetings from Cougar Creek Lodge here in the wilderness
of British Columbia, Canada! I am writing to tell you that we are
just starting our fall hunting season and we got off to a great
start. 6 bulls, 6 bears, and 6 bucks harvested during the first

We still have Cougar hunts open this winter. We have harvested
a Boone & Crockett cat every season for the past five seasons
in a row with a number of Pope & Young record book cats as
well. We believe we offer the best Cougar hunt in North America.
The existing world record was killed right on the other side of
the river from our territory (We have the genetics). Our cougar
hunts are scheduled to go to $4,500 in Feburary. Take advantage

'04 Hunts now available!
Our prime dates for next seasons' moose, bear, and deer combo hunts are
booking up quickly. We just had a price increase, but we will honor the

Cancellation
Hunts 2003!
We have one Moose/Deer combo hunt November
10 to 16 available due to a cancellation. This is when the Moose are moving
into their winter feeding grounds and it is prime rut for the Mule Deer.
This hunts is normally $3750 + 625 license and we will make it available
to you at $2900 + lic. Also, we have one trophy
mule deer hunt cancellation November 22 to 28 during the prime rut.
This hunt is normally $2500 + 450 license and we will make it available
to you $1875 + lic. |

USDA Wild
Meat Ban Lifted
We have recieved many inquiries from hunters asking us about the meat
ban. On August 8th, The US Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman announced
that the USDA is once again allowing the importation of hunter-harvested
meat, hides, and horns from Canada to the United States. This is great
news and means that everything is back to normal.
