Special Discount Hunts
Dear Hunter,
This
spring we acquired a new bear and cougar area that covers more than
2,000 square miles, doubling the size of our hunting area here in the
Caribou Region (Region 5) of British Columbia, Canada. This new area
is vast, and stretches west from our existing border all the way to
the Frasier River. The addition of this new area offers more new hunting
opportunities for you than we have ever had available before. We will
be offering more cougar this winter and more bear hunts next spring.
In
addition, in early June we signed a purchase agreement to aquire a new
1,900 square mile hunting territory in Northwestern British Columbia
(Region 6) just outside of Smithers. This new area provides us with
30 more moose tags, 4 goats, 1 grizzly, an incredible black bear population,
and some good deer hunting. This territory came complete with a 24x36
log cabin, one outpost camp, and two tent camps. The Maurice River,
famous for its steelhead and cutthroat runs, flows directly through
the new hunting territory. Even more important than acquiring this territory,
Ron Fitch, the existing guide outfitter who has been on the territory
for many years, has agreed to stay on for the next few seasons to help
us operate. This allows us to take advantage of his extensive knowledge
and experience.
In order to introduce you to these new areas we would like to make
you these special offers. We are offering, you 25% off the current
price of any remaining deer or bear & deer combo hunts available
this fall. Plus, this extrodinary offer on Moose/Bear/Deer combo hunts
on the new territory and cancellation hunts. This discount applies only
to these hunts and does not apply to any other hunts booked before or
after this offer.
Spring Bear Hunts |
The
bears grow large here in British Columbia. Our bears will square up to 7'
and over. We have a salmon river, numerous logging cut blocks and ranches.
The bears are well-fed on fish, berries, and the occasional hay bail. Most
bears harvested are 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 foot. There are more bears in British
Columbia than anywhere in North America, including Alaska (population estimated
at 150,000). |

Bear/Deer Hunts |
September
bear/deer combo hunts produce some of our best quality animals. The bears
are feeding on the berries in the logging cut blocks and on the salmon in
the rivers. The deer are still in their summer feeding pattern and are on
the grass in the logging cut blocks, the alpine meadows, and in the hay
fields on some of the ranches on the front end of our territory. We are
currently offering this hunt with a $500 travel discount allowance on hunts
at the main lodge, and for even greater savings at our new outpost camp.

Deer Hunts |
We
are now accepting reservations for prime 2003 rut hunts. These trophy-only
deer hunts are available at $2,500 + license for prime and post rut dates.
It is 4 points or better to harvest. Ron Emmelcamp, who has been the guide
outfitter in this area for more than 38 years, says there are more quality
bucks now than he has seen in his entire career. This is due to five mild
winters in a row, one of the longest stretches of good weather he has
ever seen. We have been doing a very good job at harvesting cougars over
the past five seasons. Click on photo to enlarge.

Cougar (Mountain
Lion) Hunts |
Now
accepting reservations for 2004!
For the past five seasons in a row, we have harvested one to two Boone &
Crockett cats each season with a number of Pope & Young record book
cats as well. No brag, just fact. We believe we offer the best Cougar hunt
in North America. The existing world record was killed right on the other
side of the river from our territory. These hunts are scheduled to go to
$4,500 for next winter. Take advantage of these last openings this season
for $3,900 -- and save $600. Check our photo
album as results are worth a thousand words. |

Last season we may have harvested more moose, bear, deer, and cougars
than any other guide outfitter in British Columbia. Even though, last
season was so successful and our best ever to date, we expect to harvest
even more animals with our new areas -- and surpass even the success
of last season. Check out some of our harvests in our new
photo gallery.
